DISC BRAKE

A disc brake is a type of braking system commonly used in modern vehicles for both front and rear braking (with the front brakes typically being disc brakes in most cars). Unlike drum brakes, which use friction inside a drum to slow down the wheel, disc brakes rely on friction between a brake pad and a brake rotor (also called a disc) to stop the vehicle.
